Fairview House is a family-owned boutique hotel situated on 68-acres of spectacular countryside in the Crags, Pletteneberg Bay.  Fairview is named for its exceptional views over the Tsitsikamma Mountains and fynbos-rich valleys of the Garden Route National Park.

Whether you stay in the Main House or the Coach House, you will experience the ultimate in relaxed and simple luxury, from fine linens and furnishings to the picture-perfect view.

A fusion of elegant simplicity and sumptuous country comfort, each of the eight beautifully appointed rooms has been tastefully styled. Soothing neutrals and natural materials coupled with crisp, white linen and accents of colour, make the rooms the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Dining at Fairview House

We source our ingredients locally and take great pride in supporting small independent producers who contribute so valuably to the local economy and to the charm of the region.

Breakfast is included in your stay. In the summer guests can enjoy breakfast on the verandah looking out over the valley and in the winter, tucked in the dining room warmed by the wood burning stove.

We serve lunch and dinner by arrangement, and would be delighted to pack a delicious picnic for you to enjoy on your days out.

Located a ten minute drive away from the scenic hub of Plettenberg Bay, Fairview House is close enough for easy access to the abundant attractions along this famous coastline, yet secluded enough to take you away from it all.

Ten minutes from whale-watching at Keurbooms Beach, ten minutes from the gorgeous Robberg Peninsula, fifteen minutes from Nature’s Valley’s idyllic beach and forest walks.

Close to Kurland and Bitou polo fields and a stone’s throw from local vineyards, restaurants, golf courses and more.
